So Im reading the editorial page by Gary Donald on the latest Big Buck mag and it reads that Sask has enacted new tresspassing laws.
It is now "an offence to enter enclosed land that is not posted with out permission"
So driving into a pasture with the gate open is illegal regardless of how its posted unlesss permission is given.
I was out this past weekend asking permission for a number of good mulie spots and nobody was allowing hunters this year because of so many idiot hunters who are causing trouble. I was upset due to the fact alot of good land is now not accesible but am happy for landowners who can now charge some of these clowns.
I have also heard rumours that next season, the Sask Party is trying to enact laws in Saskatchewan that would make hunters ask for permission to hunt on any property that was not their own whether it be an open stubble field or open treed up area.
I think it will be great, lots of guys are going to quit hunting due to the hassle and their will be more birds and deer for me on property I ask to hunt on.
What are your thoughts??
Cheers!!
