Why is this still for sale?
Reg price is $2299. They just dropped it another 50 to $1449. This is a big gun and for precision shooting probably couldn't ask for a better platform. This has been there since Christmas that I know of and boggles my mind why someone hasn't snapped it up.
If it's bought before the 15th, 10% rebate from Savage to boot.

Piet Skiet, a precision shooter on YouTube, has an MDT chassis that he has the max amount of weight added to it so he can track the bullet. A heavy gun is a good thing if all your doing is punching paper or ringing gongs at 1000m. If I weren't in the middle of buying a GSR right now I'd adopt that baby. Being LH wouldn't be an issue either because with a bipod my RH is there to sling the bolt.
