New Savage 110 rifles

Its true 6.5 Creedmoor is kind of the new noobie caliber which is why it has become so popular. You cannot deny the success and advantages it has over some of the old stand by calibers. Better barrel life than 243 Winchester and flatter trajectory and less recoil then 308 Winchester. It's just getting to that point where everybody is thinking it will do everything with little to no effort. Which the caliber does help, it still won't make you great over night though.
 
I'll take the barrel if you want to sell it at a resemble price let me know. All the experience I have had with stock savage barrels is sub MOA still looking for a 6.5
 
I have the savage 110 tactical in 308 with 24" barrel. Absolutely love it. Takes the ai mags not the savage proprietary mags.
 
I was waiting for a "sale" on the new 110 with Accufit stock in 6.5 CM.
A few things I didn't like were the fluted barrel and tapered fore end, plus I have no need for the larger mag.
Cabela's just had yet another sale on their 10T-SR rifles for $749, I think once they're finally gone they'll only carry the new 110 Tactical.
Mine should be in the mail today, I'm hoping for a problem-free rifle.
