Lyman Alaskan 2.5x All Weather with a dot reticule.
I've had it out once so far and I was very pleased with the new "team".
2nd shoot is coming up soon , so I'll see how the Alaskan and the ATI mount has held.

The rifle will shoot sub 1 1/2" groups @ 100yd and it's not finicky on fodder.
Once I found out about LB T's using the Alaskan , I went in search of...
...ended up with 5 different types of Lymans scopes during my quest. ;) and finally bought this one from a fellow CGN'r.
It's not the 32TP , but close enough .
It's my 1st time with a dot reticule too...I like it

I had a Lyman All American 2.5x post reticule on it proir to the Alaskan. They made a nice fit together as well.

The rifle looks good.
Keep an eye open for a Griffin and Howe detachable side mount for a 7/8" scope. It is similar to the mount used with the 32TP scopes. Base might have to be made or remachined. Would require drilling and tapping, of course, wouldn't do this to a good rifle.
I have a good shooting bitser LB, and have thought about doing the same thing that you did.
There is nothing wrong with a Lyman Alaskan scope.
For my simulated 03A4, I used a Weaver 330. Badly bubba'd 03A3 was the candidate. Its a much better sight than I would have thought, for scope with a 3/4" tube made in the '30s.
