Well a new scope I ordered came in the other day. A Steiner GS3. 2-19x42 with the S1 reticle for windage holdovers. Scope is solid and turret clicks are nice and crisp. Zoom ring is firm but not too stiff. My only concern is that the reticle seems a bit on the thin side, especially if I was shooting at dusk, but I won't be able to report on that till I get out to the range in the late afternoon. On the positive They do have a great warranty which I hope I will never require.
