New Shipment of Shadow IIs

Are the black ones still even on the radar for Canadians or the few samples that dealers received will become collector editions? I see you've removed them entirely from the website.

I believe they mentioned in another thread that the got a few black ones but they were already spoken for from the pre-order list..

Will you guys be getting more all black soon?

They removed the option to preorder or buy the black ones from their website. Not even there and marked as sold out like it used to be. It seems they are either done with preorders or they're not expecting black S2 in the near future.

Probably don't like to be # 2. ;) I'm still holding out for the black -- although my dealer went belly up.

Copy that.. if I know who you're referring to? They're no longer on CGN ? (BW firearms) .. I haven't requested my deposit refund yet, but basically no dealership can or is providing any updates on the black and blue models. I understand it's a hurry up and wait game... but where's the courtesy ?

THIS!

I'm really getting sick of this bait and switch. I know its not Wolverines fault but SOME idea when the black ones (THE ONES THAT WERE ADVERTISED!!) will be coming would be nice. I'm fast losing interest in this gun simply due to the non-stop delays.

I hate dodging the issue or making excuses but on this one we are caught in the middle. CZ underestimated the demand and we have to accept what we are sent. We don't like operating under these conditions but we have no control, I sympathise for you but I know that is of no comfort.

your in a bummer of a position I get it. But if CZ gives you a hint as to when the black ones are coming just lets us know. I sold 2 pistols just to raise money to buy this so I am without a 9mm now. I'm not sure if I should wait or find something else.

Just a quick question, for curiosity: If you end up with a mile high stack of "grey" Shadow 2 in the warehouse and a mile long queue of preorders for the black, can you refuse the "greys" and send them back to CZ?

Personnaly I gave up, bought a shadow 1 and I'll get a shadow if/when the black ones hit the market and the preorders are fulfilled. It might take a few months, it might take a year, or CZ might have abandonned the black one at this point for me it's not that important, I'm just curious. If you have to accept the "grey" ones, then there's no financial incentives for CZ to send black ones, so they won't bother.

Last shipment was >1 month ago. Now this one contains "grey" only. At that that rate, maybe another shipment late 2016, maybe not. Nothing guarantees there's gonna be any black S2, and even if there's some, it might not be enough for anyone who didn't preorder to get one. So unless you've preordered, I wouldn't expect the black ones before christmas. If you have preordered, then that's a maybe. If the trend continues, that is. Given John's "No shipment in sight" comment, I wouldn't be very optimistic.

Shadow 1 are on sale at a lot of dealers and they're more or less flooding the EE. With this new batch of grey S2, I would expect that trend to continue.

I bought the so called 'urban grey', which doesn't seem grey at all to me. I think of the color as more taupe than anything. However, not fussed about colors as long as it isn't pink, and the gun is very nice. I had mine to the range yesterday and shot it alongside my CZ SP01 Shadowline. Now, my Shadowline is broken in and very slick to operate while the CZ2 was super tight being right out of the box but after 200 rounds ran well. The CZ2 seems to have almost no recoil compared to the Shadowline, and I thought that was a soft shooter. The CZ2 is even more built like a tank and very accurate, I give it an edge over my Shadowline and up until now, that was my most accurate pistol.
My opinion, ignore the color and buy one, you won't be disappointed.

Maybe discounts/ sale on the grey ones? Sounds like CZ is dumping the grey ones into Canada, like China dumping steel.

I would suspect they cant and even if they could they would not refuse/return the urban grey. People are buying the Urban grey ones. This shipment will be gone fast. I have a canadian edition and have shot "The Black One" It is a fantastic pistol with a much improved trigger. Throw a 13# hammer spring in and it lightens up the double action a lot. Go ahead with an 11# recoil spring in and you are in business.

Good. I'll buy one as soon as they're available in black. Then I can compare between the SP01 and the S2. I'm just not deluding myself about when that's gonna happen: I might very be an old man then.
