New Shooter,Red Deer

Hi all,im new to the gun scene,originally from England,always liked the idea of shooting,but handguns are illegal in the UK,but i moved to Canada 4 years ago,and now the time has come to take my firearms license,and im looking at a couple of guns to buy,a Beretta 92fs and a Mossberg Persuader pump.
Im gonna join the local shooting club with a friend(who told me about this site) and im gonna enjoy my new guns,when i get them.

Welcome to the land of the free but somewhat burdened with paperwork and limitations. The 92f was my first handgun in 4.5 mm ie pellet gun no RPAL needed. Now I have a licence so I can get a real one but instead I got a .22LR handgun because it is cheap to shoot. I am working my way up the caliber ladder one shot at a time. This site is amazing because there are real experts here and they will respond to your questions.
