We've all seen the lists, but are some of us missing stuff from smaller manufacturers?

The turks are getting into ugly semi autos in 308:

https://adlerarms.com/en/ad-500-st-semi-automatic-rifle/

Howa has introduced a 16 inch barrel ultralight that is just over 4lbs and may be the coolest model 7 ever made.

US companies are rebranding turk lever guns and S&W has entered the tactical lever market (a phenomenon that has made me realize I am a Fudd. )

Various manufacturers have come out with straight pistol gripped, big old cheek riser, box mag, occasionally carbon barreled rifles in chamberings with three capital letters behind a number (see above).

CVA has restocked the scout and is now doing non straight wall vanilla chamberings. Much to my chagrin they only come in blued in these chamberings, and the stainless comes with a much boxier cheek riser (maybe they come with both and you can change them out).

Anything really cool I'm missing out on, or that couldn't afford to pay to appear on the "new hunting rifle" lists?

Ruger is offering a special edition M77 Hawkeye in 270 win for the 270s 100 year anniversary. Looks like it has an ebony end and the barrel looks on the longer side, perhaps 24".

Ruger and Lipseys are also offering the ruger M77 hawkeye African in 270 win, probably with the same mind set of it being it's 100 year anniversary.

I hope Winchester offers something for 270 win 100 year anniversary. If not than that's sad, especially them being the parent company

Interesting! Always liked the Hawkeye African in 6.5x55 but never bit. May have to jump on this one!

Alpine Rifle Craft was at sheep show a couple weeks ago(not shot show I don’t think). They are out of Alberta! Specialize in mountain rifles!! He does everything in house I believe! Amazing craftsmanship from action to bolt to magazines!!

I’m surprised at the 22” length for their 284W version, thought for sure there’d be a 24” with brake added on in there.

**Edited**

After cruising their Site, FB and Insta they’re sweet looking rigs for sure. Also good to see they support multiple Cdn Manufacturers like IBI, Trigger Tech etc

Photo *ahem* borrowed from their FB Page

A friend of mine ordered one at the sheep show. He was impressed. He hunts all over the world with some pretty nice rifles as well. The rifle craft rifle would be a cheap rifle in his safe. Lol.

If you’ve followed him/them since the beginning, you know that it has nothing to do with any of the 700 clones out there!
He makes everything in house( other than barrels and trigger assembly) everything is machined to perfections, it is innovating, no plastic crap, the stock is not one of those bulky straight grip abomination lol, super light and Canadian!!
If I add the funds I would buy one for sure, even if it is far from what I like in a rifle lol!

i thought Stuart at Wildcat makes his stocks.

^its a sako clone, lots of horror stories about fierce rifle when they went to the states, (they have the same rep it’s seems as Christensen). The fierce made in Canada or antler arms are good rifles

I clicked on your AD-500 ST link and I have to say, I like that look. Maybe I'm odd, but it looks similar to a Browning or even a Benelli.

Do you know what these are going for, and where they are available?

Thanks!......:)

I know what is in that link.

Something a lot of people might be interested in, judging by that thread henry made where everyone seemingly requested a 9mm lever gun:

Saw on a ron spomer video that a company called sipahi from Turkey is making their revolver carbines in 45 colt/410

Even a young Fudd like me thinks this is cool

I think it looks just fine; nice lines.

I don’t know man, folding stock, that vertical grip( I never understood why), and that accessory track thing in the forehand seems like a good place for all sort of crapp to get in there lol!
Sorry I guess I’m more fudd than you are lol
