hello to all and thanks for checking out my post. Just got myself another shotgun and it just happens to be polychoke bolt action . I'am in oshawa and was over at gagnon the other day getting ready to go duck hunting picking up a box of the hevi-metal hevi-shot load (wanted to try them) and see this little gun on the used rack(where else would it be eh?). picked it up and 100 dollars later its mine. lakefield-mossberg model l395k 12g c-lect-choke is what it says.was just wondering what you nutz can tell me about it as i dont know much besides its probly older than me and every seach i try comes up with diddily thanks in advance -Rob
also any possiblity of getting a large mag than the 2shot?

I played with one of those before. Odd little gun.

They are fun to use, and work pretty well too. I had one and shot a few geese with it using #1 steel in 2 3/4" shells. I set the choke between mod and imp cyl and gave me a pretty good pattern. Open it up to imp cyl and it made a pretty good partridge gun. I don't think you will find a larger mag for it though. Very easy to clean and maintain. To take the bolt apart, simply rotate the 2 halves past its normal closed posistion and it comes apart for cleaning. Have fun.

i kinda figured that for the bolt jsut havent attempted it yet but now that iam sure i will very nice and worked in too slides no problem thanks
