I am all over the mag-fed as well... 5+1 is acceptable, 7+1 (ala Valtro) would stomp colon!

Mag feed looks great to me but they just don't do anything for me.

I need a shotgun like this for self defense in the bush and having a huge mag sticking down will just make these things totally cumbersome for me.

All the power to you range guys but I'll take a standard tube mag any day...

Definitely sign me up for the 8.5" variety. Maybe I could whip up a drum magazine for one. A super short shotgun with a higher-capacity drum mag is just my style, especially if its non-restricted.
