You can in most of the United States.
That's not true.
The U.S., in most U.S. states, will permit an any other weapon (AOW)* with the acquisition of a $5. federal tax stamp. And they will permit a short barrelled shotgun (SBS)* with the acquisition of a $200. federal tax stamp.
The process - involving fingerprinting, LE background checks, and federal registration - seems onerous to many Americans but would be familiar and no big deal to anyone who has a Canadian PAL.
* An AOW must have been originally made in that configuration and cannot have a buttstock.
* A SBS can be modified to that configuration and may or may not have a buttstock.

Tell me, if these shotty's are made in China, have they been checked for lead content? Don't want another "toys are us" type recall.

Oh, don't worry plenty of lead. Up to 600 grains each time you pull the trigger.
Maby I missed this but, could you fill us in on the restricted court challenge? Dlask's are non restricted right? How are these different? Any updates?

Well, if these ones don't come with a sticker saying 'not suitable for children" i'd personally just assume it anyway

I think they are matt blue. The only marking will be what was posted above. and the chamber size 2 3/4" and 3".
I like the lack of china/norinco markings, but park would be WAY better than matte blue IMHO. Not sure if you can specify for the next batch?
Mainly, park holds up to the weather better than the matte blue finish as evidenced by all the rusty 870 express guns - just an observation
Now you need to offer a NICE Ithaca 37 clone shorty that is an actual 37 copy, not the bastardization of the 37 currently offered by other dealer in Canada. (ie, no parts interchangeability, different trigger mechanism, dual action bars, etc. - yuck.

I agree with the park. They can't do park AFAIK. but we will see if it may be possible in the future. As with any new product, changes will occur based on customer input. We are the sole direct importer from this factory for Canada, so we have unique access to custom changes. We are also going to try and add the flexi-tab system if it is worth it. Some testing will be required.
