New shotguns, MAG-FED and SHORTIES - NEW PICS

So with the different rear sights on the 2 receivers will you be able to swap barrels between them, ie 18" on the 14" receiver?

Do these take 3" shells?

We likely won't be selling the 18.5" in Canada just yet. But, yes I believe the barrels all swap. I will have to see them in person to verify.

No, but you can put a folder on a non-restricted 12.5.

no you cannot - and i'll remind you that the rules here SPECIFICALLY say no illegal suggestions or discussions.

Please don't suggest people break the law on this forum. There may be some type of shotgun that is within legal length for a folder with a 12.5 barrel but i believe it's already been established this isn't one of them.

You can put a pistol grip on, that's about it.

The laws state very specifically
Cannot reduce to less than 660mm by folding or telescoping. It will be Ok if over 660mm.
660mm is very very close to 26 inches . It "seems" replacing stocks, on guns with factory made barrels under 18 inches , with other unaltered factory made stocks or pistol grips that don't fold or telescope is acceptable.

What about a pistol "bending" stock? :)

You know you can bend that stock to one side...

Or "swallowing" stock which part of the stock swallows the other half?:)

Just kidding...

Aren't the powers to be currrently saying putting a PG on a 12.5 or 14 changes the classification from non-restricted to restricted?

Not so far. They classified dlask's "branded' gun that way and that'll be a legal fight but if you just take a regular shotgun and put a pistol grip on it, its' legal. The law regarding barrel length only mentions stocks that can be shortened by telescoping, folding or other means. It never mentioned pistol grips.

I thought theres a discriptor attached to the FRT number of the gun that says you cant use it with the pistol grip legally?

(Im talking about the Grizz 12.5")
