New shotguns, MAG-FED and SHORTIES - NEW PICS

That is my guess , nothing to base it on.

Just wondered what it would take to make him feel like he was running out.

I am still waiting for the belt feed option :D:D

I believe it was because they weren't able to produce enough to keep up with demand (I remember somewhere in the thread CanAm saying something about them having problems getting the mags ready in time or something). Guess it was a trial period the first few days to see how many people would order an extra mag, so they limited it. Thats my guess.

The other one. Still can't get light right. Too dark

Enough is enough. Here is Grizzly-Mag from 25 yard with ghost ring. The gun shoots better than me. Of course, can't use ghost ring for target shooting. Need red point next time.

Whoa, I didn't realize that the Grizzly mag-fed version was chambered for 2 3/4" only when I ordered it. Just kind of took it for granted that it would accept 3 inch rounds. No biggie, I suppose. I should have asked more questions.

Am I correct in assuming that you can convert a 2 3/4" shotgun to 3" by swapping the barrel and replacing the ejector assembly?

I ordered two, But I did order in the first hour or so, I guess some one ordered 20 extra ones or something limiting the supply for every one, I was billed for 2 before that restriction came in.

I doubt anyone ordered 20. That would be $600 of accessories for a $350 shotgun before it reached your door. Unless they intended to resell at $50 each (a real asshat move) I can't see anyone actually buying and using 20.

I suspect the average would have been a much lower number, perhaps 3-6 per order. Howver even that small number could have depleted their supply before all the Grizzly-MAGs sold.

Darkshadow....clean your room!!! :)

A real good Idea was given to me by a buddy on another forum.

since the receiver tube is empty, he suggested putting a flash light into the tube!

A mini mag fits right in but my scorpion streamlight is a little too big to fit with the rubber on.

Thought about drilling a hole in the center of the tube cap so the flash light can fit in, just need to think about someway to retain the light besides wrapping it with tape until it wedges in.

They actually make end caps that would fit that are designed to hold flashlights darkshadow. Lets you switch 'em out pretty easily :)

yeah I have seen them, but most I have seen hold the butt of the light so it sticks out past the mag tube this way it would go into the tube so only the head was sticking out, keeps it out of the way with the short barrel too.

was thinking of using all the extra tube space to hold spare batteries or even hook extra batteries up for extra power.

Dave,
One thing to keep in mind is that the mag cap holds the barrel on too.

You might be able to take a +1 extension and use the portion in front of the cap as the flasjlighigt holder, that would hold the barrel in place AND allow you a tube to put the flashlight. The end pops out of my Dlask +1 and would hold a smaller diameter flashlight, I bet the flange could be removed to allow full inside diameter size.

I think that would work.
Cheers

Someone posted a series here where they were extended or internal depending on how many rounds you were willing to give up (length of the light internally). Wouldn't matter in this application of course. I don't know if it's a standard thread endcap on these shotties tho now that i think of it.

Still - nothing more fun than modifiying your gun :) Just make sure you can get replacement endcaps if you screw it up, they're usually pretty cheap.

like a said really not imprest by this.
bbb

Lot's of factories are shutting down in China for the Olympics to help clear up pollution and reduce traffic......I really don't think Can-Am can do anything about it BadBoy.

Well I guess he could have held off the entire order until after the Olympics, but that would only have imprested less people!
