I was looking for a mossberg 590A1 in marine coat to start with. I called all around the Edmonton area looking for one in stock with out success. Got the usual "we can order it for you, but it will take around 120 days" comment.
Then I stopped in at WSS about a week ago and seen this Browning BPS all weather. Compared it to the mossy 500 marine & 870 mariner standing beside it. Hands down better fit, finish & feel compared to the others. It was around $600. Must be a gun new for Browning I have never seen them before.

Forged and machined steel receiver with satin nickel finish. Stainless steel matte finish barrel with fixed Cylinder choke. Bottom ejection, dual steel action bars and top-tang safety. Needless to say it followed me home

I wanted something that could kick around the truck for when I am working in the bush or that I could take on fly in fishing trips up north.
The nickel / stainless finish should take some neglect & still last a lifetime. Who know's maybe the shine will spook the bears before it has to be used Laugh2
