So I have decided to transition my armed employees from their revolvers to semi-automatic pistols...

The new pistols will be chambered for .40S&W and now i need to choose a gun..so your input is appreciated..

smith m&p hands down also look at the blackhawk cqc retention holster i love both of mine inexpensive, adjustable fit, and reliable

M&P all the way, IMO. Easy to learn how to use, very ergonomic, safe, great in-country support and service through MD Charlton, and dirt cheap. And the best feature for your type of application, the interchangeable backstraps so the gun will fit any hand, no matter how small or huge. With retail prices floating well under the $700 mark, I would imagine the bulk pricing would be very attractive.

I'm a big Sig fan but I voted for the M&P. The different grips make it easier for the gun to fit them all. They shoot very well and may be easier to get them serviced, if needed. From the nitty gritty point of view (dollars and cents) the M&P can be had for much less than the Sig....you asked but really it's your money and your choice. Personally, I'd be very happy if my employer would issue new equipment without me having to ask or make a 'business case' as to why I need it. All the best!

Go against the herd man....
I don't know what kind of business your runnin', but if employees are to be armed I say fix 'em up with single action cowboy revolvers... Big ones!

Who's gonna f*** with someone carrying a Peacemaker:onCrack:

You gotta factor the size of your employees hands... Pick the gun that will probley suit them. Like I cannot shoot a Beretta 92 well because I find the grip to big. Heck ask them....Get their input, because they're gonna be the ones putting it to use.

Assuming your revolvers are S&W, I would go with the M&P, since you should already have a dedicated armorer for S&W.

M&P also shoots nice, is light, different size grips, etc....
