As a shooter I wil go for a Sig with DAK trigger, easy to learn, quite accurate, But as a Boss I will go for price-quality, go for the M&P, and it will fit more people. .40 is the choice if you want to hurt people and make them feeling the hit if the bad guy carry a vest. .45 is better, and even a good .12 with 00Buck, but this is not the topic. As a worker in an armored car cie, one of my co-worker shoot a bad guy with is .12, loaded with 00buck, hit the guy in the mass, and the guy run for is life, never asking for a second shot, and as my friend told me, the guy was in real pain. But now , no more .12 , QPP as decided that it is a no-no since Dawson shooting. &?%?%(*?%

My guess is armed guard/security......

This is a USA located organization right? armed guard/security is what you would think if it were a Canadian question. In the USA (Florida?) it could be a part of the benefit package for any progressive company. ;)

From an economical and functional point of view, you'd probably want to go with something that suits everyone easily, cost effective(purchase plus maintenance/parts).

I love Sigs P22x pistols....but I dare say the Sig Pros would be a good choice. Cheap in the US, interchangeable grips, reliable etc..

Glock is always an easy choice...as well.

no...

This is for my security guards in Ontario and Nova Scotia...

So I have decided to transition my armed employees from their revolvers to semi-automatic pistols...

The new pistols will be chambered for .40S&W and now i need to choose a gun..so your input is appreciated..

I voted M&P. But the real question is what are you doing with the revolvers?

Anything but Beretta.

due to the typical poor training of armer security - get the the perfect stupid persons gun -> Glock: pull gun, squeeze trigger - repeat as necessary, reholster.

I'd prefer Sig - but I think the decock and the double/single transition is too much for the typical wank to handle.

Sig, But Like others have said check the employees hands.
Also if you know someone near you that has those particular guns, ask a couple of your staff to come to a range and try them out to see what they like and say about each gun.

Go against the herd man....
I don't know what kind of business your runnin', but if employees are to be armed I say fix 'em up with single action cowboy revolvers... Big ones!

Who's gonna f*** with someone carrying a Peacemaker

I say P226.

But 667 has a point. Security guys wearing quick draw rigs with single actions and coach guns just screams confidence. Seriously who's gonna f*ck with a Gunslinger? ;)
