New Sierra Bullet pricing.....Wholly Crap!

Talking about Sierra MK pills here, I bought 300 pcs of 168gr SMKs last year. I was expecting to get them in the usual green plastic box but instead they were packaged in zip-loc bags. Are these "seconds" or just bulk that the reseller packaged out?

I can't help but notice it, the misuse of lose and loose just jump off the screen at me, like a pimple on a strippers ass.

I hate to break the bad news, but you missed the apostrophe in "stripper's". That's a spelling error. Gosh, I bet that's embarrassing for you. If you aren't careful, the NSP* could revoke your membership.

I already have lots of molds especially those from Lee,...lately I find myself purchasing more due to the fact I may need them! Jacketed bullets are out of my willing to be gouged price range, then even cast bullets with the shipping is getting a bit much.

Casting your own is only going to become more popular as time marches on.
Like stated here before,...."Only real men shoot cast!":p

lower quality bullets. I'd say unsellable otherwise.
I purchased 1400 Hornady match bullets and found out quite a few had brownish freckles
This is a bullet model Hornady advertises as having the most consistent jacket thickness. They came in a plastic bag.
I cleaned the freckles and I can see the lead core through defects in the jacket
it's difficult to take pictures of shiny objects

I contacted Hornady due to the bullets I bought "168g match 30 cal" about the jacket being all messed up and here is the reply

"Mr. #######,
Thank you for supplying the picture, that helped clear things up. That is certainly an anomaly. It appears it hit something harder than simply another bullet to cause such an aggressive gouge. This has been forwarded on to our QC and packaging departments. Because you are an international customer I cannot send you complimentary bullets for your trouble, as we cannot send any reloading components over the border. Would a Hornady cap be sufficient compensation? If so, let us know and we can get it on the way for you! Thanks again,"

Really? A hat? How about some bullets.......

Everything is up. I am in the RV industry. 90% of the rv's in Canada are produced in the USA. We are seeing 12-20% increase on the same model. Our used units are flying out the door. Might be a tough sales year but why can you do. Service will be good. More people fixing instead of replacing. Should have good yankey traffic this summer.

Don't think they are allowed to export bullets Internationally but they could have sent you a coupon or something to make it right..

At the LGS the other day and was picking up some .30 cal bullets for the aught 6. Noticed new stock Sierra 150 grain .30 cal 100 count box for $54.95. Almost puked right there in the store! Anyone else seen this or is this shop gouging?
I seems like a reasonable price to me, especially for 100 bullets. I just purchased a box of Nosler Partition, 270 130 grain at a price of $52.00 for a 50 count............so what are you complaining about?
