I don't want to think negative but I think they will probably prohibit it as well. If it does make it for sale though I would gladly grab one.

Well since I'm hear in Vegas I'm gonna make a beeline for the SIG booth to take a gander at this. Looking at the video, I would guess that it would end up restricted as an AR variant. The bolt clearly shows some AR influence, and the lower also appears to be a downsized AR lower. I'm curious to get a look inside it that lower, but I'm gonna bet that I'll see what is at least an AR inspired fire control group in there.

Doubtful. No mention of it being related to the MP5.

Unlike the Daniel Defense torture test, they didn't have to rinse some of the grit from the firearm or wait for it to thaw. From what they showed anyways.
