New Sig Owner

The postman brought me my xmas present I made to myself today. Purchased a Sig P320 from Wanstalls , great service as usual ! I am so impressed with this pistol !!! It just feels so good in hand and the trigger is just fantastic. The take up is smooth , no grit at all and the break is crisp and clean with a really short and tactile reset. I really enjoy the texturing of the grip , a little less aggressive than skateboard tape but very grippy. Mags drop freely and the mag release is big but not intrusive. In my opinion so far Sig got a lot of things right with this pistol. Will be heading out to the range hopefully on Wednesday , can't wait..

Hmmmm. That IS a business like pistol, isn't it? Why, hang a light on it, and you would have the PERFECT 'latrine gun' for use in bear country when the Log Of Ease beckons at ungodly hours. Can you furnish us with a range report when time permits, Ben?

My first sig is my 226 tacops that I purchased a few months ago and I love it . Hopefully by summer the bank account will be able to sustain another Sig hit . Enjoy !

Congrats, you got the last one.....at least 3 more members, would have bought it if you had taken any longer to order......
As for the latrine comment, I think he means that if you you slap a light on that gun it would make a perfect bear defence gun to go to the toilet at night.....I am used to read Kamlooky's threads....lol,!

On the topic of lights , the Inforce APL is a perfect fit on this pistol. The light sits perfectly flush with the muzzle and doesn't sit down past the trigger guard.

It's the gen 2 APL , I think the Sig p320 is still on their first gen....

Thanks, I was talking about the APL, where did you get it, all I could find in Canada are gen 1. It's only the attachment that is modified on the second gen., a flat screw instead of the locking lever.

Rampart carries them and so does Hopelite and ctcs... There may be more but those are the ones I know do for sure. The new locking mechanism on the APL the bees knees !

Yep - the Sig P226 TACOPS (think defunct Blackwater Edition) in .40 cal was my first Sig - doesn't get any better than that.

SIG just has a nice build ....
