P226 LDC: Long Dust Cover, more weight up front to reduce recoil and muzzle rise for competitive shooting. New SRT Speed Trigger System with a reset of only 1.2mm!

Nice. I was noticing this on the Sig German site (.de) too. Judging from the specs, I also like the fact that it seems to be a regular steel frame, not a lightweight alloy frame. I wonder how long it will take to show up in Canada.

Are German production Sig's still being imported directly from Germany? I thought that; although they had been directly imported in the past, now all pistols were coming via Sig USA.

interesting. i had not heard this. anymore details?

Very nice. Although unless its weighted up front rather than just extended, I doubt you'll see much of a difference in recoil control due to the extremely high bore axis traditional to the Sig's design. My 226 compared to my tanfo stock 3 are in 2 completely different worlds when it comes to recoil management. Slide in frame vs frame in slide will always prevail imo. Just my 2 cents.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I started out shooting IPSC with my P226 w/SRT and although the trigger is fantastic, it just can't beat the recoil management of my CZ's.
