One of my favorite rifles is a Mauser Es340B. My changing vision has taken away some of my enjoyment from shooting tangent sighted rifles. This week I got lucky and found an old peep that fits the rifle perfectly. It's only marking are 'Lockheed Wagner F.C.726A' on the eyecup. I just had to share.

Hi Mark , As I was telling Mooncoon , that one is originally for the Es 350B or Olympic. It is not the original aperture. as its not Mauser marked it would have been a subcontracted after market accessory . very nice all the same, now you need to get that Es350B that was on here a couple weeks back. good hunting.

Always nice to find that rare piece, to keep you still shoot'in !!
I buy a lot of peep sights just because I love how much work goes into such tiny things :)
Great find and beautiful rifle!

The Mauser made diopters and front globe are unmarked too.
Congrats to Mark for finding something as rare as rocking horse droppings!

Sadly, I had a Ms350b a couple of years ago and had to sell it. I don't imagine affording another any time soon. Anyone know what it went for?
I did a little reading tonight. It appears the rubber eye cup is probably a boot from a brake master cylinder.
I cleaned the sight up a little tonight. All parts are numbered '6' and there's a lower case Germanic 'n' on the inside if the mounting groove. I'm just happy to find a period item.
