New skorpion

Not sure if this was mentioned, but anyone else find the promotional picture with the bayonet attachment kinda silly?

Downside to this is the fact that it's carbine length and has no pistol version meaning it will be limited to 5 rounds for us. Unless its much much cheaper then alternatives (like the Kriss ect.) it will be a hard sell.

Isn't that the BREN? Unless you seen a pic I haven't seen...

I think the photoshop NR pic is not really scaled, a 18.5 barrel will definitely stick out much more than that. Just look at the BRS.

I'd stick with restricted for that one, just make sure the BREN is NR.

The new Scorpion is everything I expected and more, easily the best 9 mm SMG I have used and I have used most that are available. This is our shop demo select fire model. CZ are working on producing a semi auto only version that will meet the tough Canadian standards for a semi auto for civilian sales. Hopefully we will see a sample before the end of the year but no ETA yet.

John, is the charging handle reversible on the new scorpion?

Yes, and it can be turned up like the MP5. She also has a bolt release on the LHS. I am a lefty but it seemed natural just to operate that slide catch by rolling my left thumb onto it. In fact when I test fired her at the factory the range staff were amazed at my gun handling and wanted to know how I had received training on their new gun. In fact the gun just felt completly natural in my hands.
