This system will turn any standard SKS rifle into a quick change tactical carbine platform with similar mag changes to a AK and a SKS D type release system, it uses modified tapco 20rd mags with the duckbill removed so they can be used in tactical vest pouches or other rigs you prefer. and can be used with un modified tapco mags as well if you so choose, the system does not require any perment modifactions to your rifle and can be switched back to stock at any time. I will try later to post the video here for you all cheers

That look interesting. I wish, it would accept AK mag, but I guess modified Tapco would do the job too. Looking forward to this. Thanks for the head up.

we are always looking at different options for the SKS rifle to make it on par with todays modern carbines this is just the first so stay tuned there will be more.

theres nothing wrong with moding it to be more user friendly as it still is 5 rounds and still functions in the same maner it was orgionally designed , bottom line is the mag was designed for the sks and still operates the same .

Can you insert the mags with the bolt closed?

you could if you choose to modify your existing bolt the tourtorial is on youtube by many sources, The one in the video is a modded bolt but has nothing to do with the funcationality of the mag release system so the choice is yours

Made it accept AK magazines, that would go fast.
the mag release system does not use AK mags It uses standard and modified Tapco mags with the duckbill removed, the benifit to this is that the mags are plentiful cheaper than hard to find Ak mags so supply and demand is good.

Dirtdiver1: is this your own product? If so, CGN mods don't take kindly to unlicensed members (read: non trader status on CGN) selling their wares. They'll make you pay for a business account or ban you. Not trying to be dickish, just a friendly heads up! :)

Sounds like an ad doesn't it?

We won't even mention hotlinking to non-sponsoring businesses.
If sevensixtwosystems wants their product promoted on CGN, they will need to make an arrangement with the management.
