I agree with what Ambroise and others have said. EXACTLY like that, with perhaps a slightly longer LOP. Otherwise, if you made it like the one shown, I can guarantee I would buy with confidence from westrifle. My westrifle sks already has a nice wood stock

I would love to see some nice, elegant wood stocks for the SKS that follow the original styling of the rifle but just add an inch or two to the length of pull. I think the rifle looks pretty good as-is, but a lot of the stocks you get on a surplus rifle are beaten up. While sometimes it 'add character', other times it just looks like ass. My own is in the latter camp and I'd love a replacement wooden stock.

Also, the ability to accommodate the bayonet is a must on wood stocks if you ask me.

Just remember to add on a little extra length to the pistol grip. If it'll fit nicely in Sergey's hands, it'll fit for everyone.

I would do this with a better grip, larger and better ergo.

I would also look into doing an ajustable buttstock. Something like this...

I have to agree. An adjustable wood stock is not going to be an inexpensive venture which makes for an expensive product. Better off producing a fixed stock with different LOP's. Just my opinion.

Hi Alex. I have a wooden butt stock, pistol grip and lower hand guard. No upper hand guard. I could lend it to you to make your sample with and then you can just give it back. Let me know. PM me if you are coming to the office soon to see Basil. I will bring it for you to see.

Couldn't you use a "beaver barf" pressed wood chip set for the shape? Does it have to be an actual wood set.

Al, I'm not sure what all is available up there, but down here in the States Ironwood is extremely popular for many rifles. But, for SKS that Timbersmith is a real popular item.
I looked at their Distributor list and I see none for Canada showing. Since Remington bought out Tapco who owned Timbersmith, perhaps an opportunity for you????

I'd love to see commercial replica AK furniture for the CZ. I'll be the odd man out in this thread and state that I hate the droopy looking stock on the CZ, and the stock grips don't do anything for me either.

That's just me though.
