I received this SKS as a gift. I was told it supposedly had some value in the SKS collectors market. I am not sure if this information was true or not. Thought I would throw it out for those with more SKS knowledge than I have. The left of the receiver has a HM four digit number and then the Russian "D" series up side down half hour glass is how I explain it. I guess that is suppose to signify a 1956 rifle. Following that is the small Tula star. One thing that is different is that it appears to have a triangle with an upside down "2" not sure what these markings are.
