don\t bother with the larger mag, faster to load with stripper clips and less bulky to carry around 200 rounds on your belt

Not in the U.S, he can buy a hundred round mags. You would have to reload 10 times with your stripper clips ( or 20 in Canada) before he would change his mag once...![]()
Your lucky, cause that's one rifle we can't play with up here!
Where about in Pa. are you anyway?
Chambersburg. Down near Maryland.

I have a Tapco T6 stock for the SKS. Just waiting for the SKS.
pro2A, by looking at your SKS, that appears to be very good quality furniture on there. I would not bother with the Tapco, just letting people know of the option, and that it has the rail system for scoping.
We aren't all that far from Erie, PA, right across the water (north by boat), where ya from?
I'm glad to see that you are not stuck in anti-gun Philadelphia.![]()
It's pretty hard not to have fun with an SKS and a crate of ammo! Enjoy!![]()
Philly tries to buck it's feet at state law all the time. Legally speaking none of their laws would apply if someone was prosecuted. It would get thrown out in court. PA has pretty good pre-emption law. Laws are uniform across the state from Hicktown to inner city Philly.
I hear you, but those anti-gun Mayors are still a major pain in the butt...
Edit: Sorry buddy, by the looks of it, it will not accept AK magazines. Only the SKS-D model will accept AK magazines, and your's looks like the standard non-detachable model.
BTW: what factory is it from?
I drive my big rig in that area from time to time, in fact, I just had a few C.B.'s repaired at the Shippensburg Travel Center.
