I ran across this video recently and figured it would interest people here.


I'm not a big fan of tarting up the basic M14 rifle...replacing the handguard with an M14.ca rail is about as far as I care to go. However this new stock looks very nice. Here's hoping Springfield offers it as an aftermarket product.

The only part that could be compatible, is the butt stock. They say in the video that you can use whatever buttstock you want..... I assume that means it is AR-15 "compatible".

What else could there possibly be? The grip? They explained in the vid why it isn't......

I would actually like with-out all the rails.... or removable rails anyway......

My bad, I first saw the stock on the US forum so I hadn't watched this vid and I thought the buttstock was proprietary. I do like the red dot mount. I'd still rather have the Vltor mod stock or one of 45ACPKING's stocks (which I already have) instead of a plastic stock... This one is like a less modular version of building your own mod-stock with a norc stock and 870 adapter, imo.
 
This is actually super attractive. Does anyone know when/where they're going to land, and at what price?

I could conceivably buy the rifle, sell the stock and replace it wit the nicer/more ergonomic VLTOR stock.
