New Spent Brass.

After trying my hand at loading black powder in jamison new 577 brass, I see the insides of the shells looking rough. How should I clean them to be reused and inert for more black powder? I've got advice but lookin for more still.

I presume that you wash the shells in hot water after firing. Give them a quick pass with a bore brush during this process. I usually soak my shells for a few minutes in hot water, brush and rinse then put them on top of the hot water tank to dry

hot water, electrasol dish washer powder in jug shake, then rinse plain hot water.towel dry . then air dry . then into tumbler . cheers FRANK
