I was out running around doing some chores yesterday morning when I came across a cattle/horse farmer that was cutting up a tree that fell/broke during the wind/rain storm the other day. I stopped in, one thing lead to another and now I have a new hunting spot. Great guy, we talked for about 1.5hrs…He was very happy with my success this morning.
The coyote came in really quick, less than 1 minute of calling and she was right on top of the caller/decoy…. I turned to adjust she saw my movement, jumped a few yards back, she stopped to turn at what startled her and I let the .223 fly from 45yds…She fell in her tracks…Stayed and called for another 45mins with no results….

Enough knocking on doors and chatting with people and eventually landed myself about a 400-500 acre property to hunt on.
