New Stag-10 Break in, Ran like a peice of...........

I just did my first range session on a 308 GI model Stag 10 today. I did strip, clean and lube before shooting.

First impressions:
- 60 rds of cheap factory Winchester 150gr PP without a hiccup. Front bag only.
- This thing has no recoil!
- Trigger weight OK but horrendous scratchy creep,
- 5 shot groups averaged 1.6" with several sub 1.25" 5-shot groups - which is about as good as can be hoped for with this ammo and this trigger.

I'm pleased as punch. Potential looks excellent and the only bit that needs upgrading or twiddling with is the trigger for this rifle to be exactly what I wanted it to be.

You should never shoot a new rifle without a full stripping, cleaning, and proper lubrication. Especially a semi auto.
If guys just take them out of the box and go shoot I would expect to hear a lot of problems on here that could have been avoided.

You are absolutely words to, yet most of us have done it at least on e. Lol

^^this

Many first time owners of the new Derya 12 shotguns experience many malfunctions. Even the sks is prone to this with slam fires and all due to packing grease.
