The Stag 15 Valkyrie utilizes the all-new 224 Valkyrie cartridge, created by Federal Premium® Ammunition, allowing for maximal performance from the Stag 15 platform. Built around an 18” 416R Stainless Steel Fluted Heavy Barrel, the 224 Valkyrie cartridge provides less wind drift and drop than all other loads in its class and stays supersonic past 1,300 yards.
The Valkyrie hosts our Two-Stage Match Trigger, coated in Nickel-Boron, that is designed for precision shooting. Each pull is smooth and consistent to ensure that this trigger will enhance the shooters ability to create tighter groups at the furthest distances. The mid-length gas system provides reliability under any condition and is combined with a low-profile gas block. The rifle is finished with a Magpul PRS Stock, Aluminum Enhanced Trigger Guard, Hogue Pistol Grip, and Manganese Phosphate coated, chrome lined 6.8 SPC II bolt carrier group.
The 224 Valkyrie cartridge is the new choice for both long-range target shooters and hunters.

Yep, I know the barrel length requirements.
But,I’ve seen posts ,saying that some barrels, out of the U.S are 18.5 inches.
Even though they’re listed as 18 inches.

Ya, some barely make it and some don't make it. I wouldn't chance it. My Ballistic Advantage 18" barrel measures at 18.4" when measured according to Canadian requirements. Not quite enough.

Stag Also offers this same rifle as a rifle kit which includes everything except a lower receiver and it should be priced a little less. However that's still a lot of coin to spend only to find out that you are .1" short.

If they made one with a longer barrel I'd consider it as .224 Valkyrie is more than less intended to fill a long range/DMR type role so i think it is better suited with a longer barrel.

Perhaps Arms East could verify the barrel length on this according to Canadian measurement requirements?

Since they advertise it as being 18" I wouldn't expect you'd get anything other than 18" for an answer. Purely for liability reasons. How Canadian law defines barrel length is irrelevant to American manufacturers specs. Still doesn't hurt to ask though.

Perhaps you could also find out if there are any plans to produce the .224 Valkyrie with a longer barrel length? 20" minimum, perhaps even 22". I have a feeling you may sell a few of these with a 20" barrel, now that we have NR receiver sets to put the parts into.

It's a caliber focused around long range shooting... I highly doubt that there will be bulk ammo.

It is restricted because it is an ar-15 and/or variant, and the barrel length is shorter than 18.5"

I'd buy the barrel right now if it were 18.5" or longer...
