I've only seen one, in the field, shooting gophers. I tried it. I'm pretty sure you'll like it, but I can't tell if you will like it enough for what it costs. It depends how long and hard you have to work for that particular amount.

You have a good point on the cost, as my most expensive rim fire rifle is a Sako Quad and the Steyr is unlikely to be the same value.

I purchased a ISSC Spa in .17HMR for just over $400 so it’s a stretch to go up to $900 for a name tag and a stock.

I need to handle one before considering further.
