New stock for my 700 project complete

I never want to see another sheet of sand paper for a long long time, they are not kidding these come very unfinished, and with a bedding job, it took some time.
What do you think too much or ok!

Not sure but i think i like it, lol dont ask what caliber it is, lol! from most of the recent posts you can guess lol!

What are you deprived off? What are your deficiencies you are making up for? Your avatar says it all. Has the world rejected you or just females? (You do like females don't you?)

Very nice job. Turqouise is a ukrainian colour though. It always reminds me of babas with easter eggs.

I like it! it looks great. I cant wait to get mine for my SS weatherby vanguard either in black lam or royal camo.

I will leave the walnut and classic sporter stocks to the old boys who cant handle change.

lol!:D No this one is the second one, I bought new about 7-8 years ago
the rusted one was a blued one, and a dam shame it had a nice BDL wood stock but was split and well not fixable, that was the one my cousin left wet in a locked sponge gun case for 2 weeks, was FUBAR-ED needed a new barrel.

This one had a tupperware stock did not like it at all, so i figured this would be better than plastic :eek:

I am a classic type look guys as well, this will take some getting used to, I think, got this stock about 2 years ago, but just finished it, with bedding and all, had it in and out of the rifle a few times looked even worse on a blued rifle, was going to slap it on my weatherby but the SS looked better, now its bedded for the 7mm rum and dedicated.

That old rusted one I took right down, has a different barrel, and now has my old stock that i cammo painted up, and different as well i may have posted a picture, here as a christmas project gun, turned out ok.

Good job i have a m-70 308 classic blued wood stock, 22 inch barrel that i hunt with lol! at least it keeps me sain

That lump on the stock fore-end is a leftover part of the manufacture process and it should be on plane with the rest of the fore-end...Don't feel too bad yours is the second one I've seen finished that way!

Bet it shoots good though!

that stock is FUUUUGLY!!! It might have looked decent if you kept it single tone... either blue/grey or all brown, mixing the two just juined it

I had thought that too until I looked at the pictures of the finished ones!

I was going to take it off but left it on

Go load 75 grains of blue dot or tite group in your 7mm rem mag, pull the trigger and call it a day !

Mods where are you guys! or is this a free for all B.S gun forum now.

So, you can insult people? Look at what his insult was. You did not spell sponser correctly. I agree the insulting has to stop. Questions about 7mms are serious questions. They did not deserve the abuse. A serious gun owner wouldnt paint a 700 turquiose with lil trophies behind them and brag about it. Stop the insulting and so will I. 7mm mags are among the most popular guns for a reason. To play like lil boys in middle school playing popular is sad. What I did was question why he needed to insult. Obviously there is a deficiency. Most likely educational or ###ual. You wont sponser anyway. Eventually, I hope to be a sponser selling Sharps rifles in Canada.

Well since you know it all, its not painted and its far from turquiose!

I like your gun Jason. It is a beauty and you do quality work. I just dont prefer the colour. Can a 700 be restocked with a specialized stock with a smaller handgrip. I eventually have to have a 7mm stw made but I dont like the handgrip on a 700 especially the ones on the sendero.
 
Yes it can, its just a matter of taking it down to desired thickness.

Any long action will fit into the stock, provided if its a floor plate. But can be ordered with out as well.
 
Can a 700 be ordered with a detachable magazine? I would like a small grip with a detachable magazine so dont know what action to start with.
