So I have spent a lot of time and money, as we all have, developing a sub half moa load for my rem 700 vtr in 223. I am upgrading from the wet noodle of a stock to a magpul hunter with aluminum bedding block. My question is this. Will my loads remain the same once I fit the new stock or am I going back to the drawing board?

Thanks guys.

That "wet noodle" stock you're complaining about can't be that bad if you're getting sub moa groups consistently. This new stock will definitely give you a different point of impact but that should be about it. Nothing your scope won't handle. It's your rifle but I would still use a bit of bedding glass to fix things in place.

Once you start to get consistent sub moa groups and want more (anal?? I have been labeled that way) it becomes an addiction. The only way to know your load is good is if your 1/2 moa holds out past 300 yards.

The stock just eliminates one of the variables and then you have to start looking elsewhere for more accuracy.

It can get expensive but it is fun while it lasts.
