New Stock

Well, got out to do some range testing today, at 100 and 300 yards, to finalize my load, and see how the new stock and bedding do. Best groups at 100 yards were .435 inches and .524 inches, and at 300 were 2.100 inches and 2.342 inches respectfully (after subtracting .224 for bullet diameter).

I'm very happy with the outcome, and can't wait to shoot it next year in ORA events!
 
Stock Looks great! I know the feeling about the 10 month wait I have 2 stocks sitting here for my stevens 223 & 243. Did You Piller bed? The one thing I dont like about the boyds stocks is that Plastic ethusion for the front action screw. Its to bad boyds no longer makes the VIP stocks anymore and that they only sell the finished ones :(
