People really need to move on over this credit card stuff. I know I am tired of the same people whining every time there is a FOC thread. The moderators should have been involved some time ago. I guess they are too busy or maybe the agree with the whiners.

Should get a shave and a haircut. I have seen at least 2 other posts from you about FOC in the past. I bought from them once and did not have any problems but they charge both PST/GST for BC residents and they are constantly spamming my inbox with their "sales". I get it, that big store has to be paid off somehow.

Absolutely!The credit card fiasco is going on 8 months or more since what I can recall is the last report of a credit card being compromised.
It was handled poorly but they've likely had system changes.
There are no recent reports of any bad things happening.
The constant forum spammingafter someone posts that ordered from FOC has gone beyond a PSO.
I had my card compromised once at Petro Canada.
Should I stand at the gas station with a sign the rest of my life ?

This brings back my point that I mentioned on another FOC thread that it is almost impossible to pinpoint 110% the point of compromise as credit card info can be compromised a while ago before fraudulent charges occur, and/or can be compromised in one or more places. Once you used it online, then is a fair game.
Smaller companies may not always report this type incident and don’t have the resources such as bigger companies or government agencies. So from that perspective they are the “easier” targets. That’s why banks will assist in fraud claims and secure credit card once it is compromised and make customers whole.
I recognize that some people are more sensitive than others. That’s why we have plethora of stores that we have a freedom to choose from. Hypothetically let’s say the mob wants to drive every store that hurt their feelings to go out of business by constantly calling them out tirelessly and they succeed. That means only fewer stores left for millions of us. What does it mean for the competition from pricing perspective? What does “supply and demand” law tells us. I think we all got the message already from the other FOC thread. Time to forgive, forget, and move on. Vote with your money as you wish.
You obviously don't understand what happened or why everyone is so upset.
It's got nothing to do with CC's being compromised....that can happen ANYWHERE.
It's the simple fact that FOC KNEW they were compromised, but since it was the middle of the buying Frenzy and sales were through the roof.....FOC decided it was better to keep quiet about it and continue to take peoples CC's.
They could've done the right thing and shut it down, accepting cash, Debit or EMT only. But Greed got the best of them and this is why it's impossible to forget and move on.
