Hello All,

Only additions so far are the 10 round LAR mags....Pistol grip and stock on order and looking at the Redfelid 4x14x40 AR scope and some kind of quick realise mount (suggestions welcome)

Question is, I am taking the rifle to the range tomorrow with some American Eagle 55 gr and wanted to know if there are any breakin procedures I should be aware of.

Thanks in advance

Cheers
B

The zeroing takes a bit of fiddling :yingyang: , but so long as your reticle is aligned with your barrel ;) , it'll al turn-out okay.....:)

I didn't do anything aside from load a mag, slap it home, pull the charging handle back and let it fly forward.....yes let it fly forward without your help, flip off the safety and start firing.
I have heard that if you have FTF problems, it's sometimes due to a packing grease they use on the bolt fouling things up a bit.

I ordered the stock and forend and I don't even have the gun yet. Sad I know.
Personally I break in all my guns the same way. I clean the barrel really well before shooting to make sure I get any and all oil that may be in there out before shooting it. Then I clean after ever shot for the first 5.

i wiped the bore down on mine, and fired it until the packing grease started to smoke. no stoppages, at all! brought the sights a little closer to on target, cleaned her up nice. since function is flawless, I'll try seeing what accuracy can be had now.

where did you get the accessories for it?

X2 ,, still love mine after 700rounds ! I've been packing it every time I get on the sled this winter( coyote season). Added a Nikon 40mm scope , folding pin, 10rd mags, and a sling strap. I found the quick release pins for the folding stock on ebay for 5bucks each. It makes it so much easier/faster to break it down .

Good luck with it and Happy shooting !!

Hi Hunter

Would you mind Sharing that link for the quick release pins :)

I Jealous you can get out on the sleds...we have grass here with a prox 700 and grand touring parked on it

Just FYI... a number of us went to local industrial fastener suppliers (i.e. Brafasco) and picked up a hitch pin with the ring. About $2 and no more tapping that sucker out. I don't recall the length but just bring it with you and have it matched up.
