New Sweety.......!

Just picked this little sweety up:

Ruger SP-101 .357magnum DOA.

What a sweet little gun, the trigger is out of this world.

Downside, the wife has already claimed this one, I guess it goes nice with my latest McGowan custom knife she claimed.

But thats ok she's a sweety too.......!

I've seen a few of these on the EE. Very nice. The best DA trigger I ever tried was on a tuned Ruger GP100.
My Colt Detective Special shot just as well DAO.

The SP101 sure is a nice revolver. Mine had a bad DA trigger though. When I get it back (see my other thread) I'm having Armco do a trigger job on it for me.

Mine's in 38 Special. I used to own a 2 1/2" S&W 686 in 357 Mag, and IMO the barrel is just too short to produce the extra power.

They do produce a cool cone of fire from the muzzle on firing however!

They are a beautiful little revolver aren't they? I've owned three of them in the past, but never one in DAO. I'll bet the trigger is wonderful.
