I was in Shooter's Choice on Sat. and got to checkout the new Browning T-bolt. I'm very tempted. Action is exactly like the old t-bolt. Tang safety. Nice stock, checkering was OK. Great bluing. Funny mag - makes me wonder how many will still work and how hard they'll be to find 30 years from now.
It was about $650. Might have to start saving my pennies.

They also had a Kimber .22 with select walnut - $2300. Very nice, but what do you do with a gun worth that much? Imagine the first scratch.

The Browning seems to have better fit & finish, IMHO, and a plus for me ...
can't stand the ugly little steel magazine on the CZ hanging down below the
floor plate. Totally spoils the otherwise good looks of the gun.

Nice that CZ packs the test target with the gun. The one I looked at was just over 1/2" @ 50 metres.

I'll let you know how the T-Bolt shoots soon as I get some mounts out of Leupold. As to magazines ... buy 3 or 4 while the gettin's good. Not that I've ever lost a magazine - but lots of others seemingly do ... some regularly !!!

I picked up a T-bolt I love showing off, but I still haven't shot the bugger yet.

What type of rings and bases are you going to have on this gun. I had checked one out in the gunshop the other day and probably would of bought it but they had no rings or bases so I thought I would wait and buy the whole works together somewhere.
Price checked at WSS and the sporter was $629.99 and the target\varmint was $649.00.
Need to know where and what rings to use.

Nice looking rifle, but think I'll wait awhile. My experience with Browning's A-bolt rimfire was iffy in the accuracy department (4 rifles, one quite good, 3 lousy at best) When all the reports are compiled, then....maybe. Regards, Eagleye.

Too bad they didn't wise up and have a set of integral mounts, and/or a decent set of sights. Also waiting to see performance reports.
