The new TAC PRO® Kydex® cheek riser has been designed in response to requests for a cheek riser that fits sporting rifles such as the Remington 700 and other rifles with similar sized stocks.

Most “saddle” type cheek risers have parallel sides that add as much as 2cm to the width of the stock and force the eye out of alignment with the sights. In addition, the round top of most of these risers prevent consistent cheek positioning.

The TAC PRO® cheek riser solves both of these problems with an ergonomic shape that does not increase the width of the stock where the cheek rests.

Available first week of March, when we receive the shipment of vibration resistant knobs for these risers. Cost: CAD $49.95.

Are you going to have different knob styles as an option?

No. The knobs have an insert that is threaded 1/4-20. This is a very common thread for various knobs that are available at Home Depot, Lee Valley and other stores that sell fixture knobs, for those who want a different style of knob.

TAC PRO uses knobs that have a nylon ring to reduce the chance of the knobs becoming loose under recoil.

If you are placing a large order (>250 units), you may request another style of knobs.

warrenb, the rem 700 version will fit the Savage/Stevens.

Tacpro, is the image of the cheek rest inverted?

I am very interested in trying one but now sure if I want your logo stamped on my cheek :)

Looks to me like the screws can be insterted both ways, is this right?

Yes. The cheek rest is symmetrical and can be used by right and left handed shooters.

The TAC PRO logo, or the stiffening ridge on the right side of the rest, do not interfere with cheek positioning. The logo is inset into the plastic and the stiffening ridge is very low.

Jerry, in the event that the TAC PRO logo becomes imprinted on your cheek, we can have it surgically removed. Only takes a few days to heal and you'll be good as new.

I got the FIRST TacPro riser off the press and I must say, I am very happy with it. Cheek weld is 100 times better, and the fit and finish is great. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
