Remove the bolt on the back of the bolt body, swap handles reinstall bolt into bolt body

Thanks to the OP for this post. I just ordered my 2 inch version today. $67 shipped is pretty amazing for the handle and arm... all complete. Should be a great upgrade for my 10 FCP SR.

Got my bolt handle in the mail today. Great looking product and man, that was fast shipping. Im going to install it this morning.

Wow, the bolt assembly screw won't budge. I've changed bolt handles on other Savage rifles but this one will not give. Is Savage using thread locker on these now? I may have to try some heat on the assembly screw.

Mine was the same way...so I just added a little more torque...I used a 3/8 drive ratchet with the / hex head socket....much easier than a 4 " allen key
