Okay, help me out here. I recently bought a Tavor and my trigger pack looks like this:

notice the push-type spring in the top centre.

This is different from the "Israeli Trigger Pack" described in the Tavor FAQ with a pull type spring on the side (instead of the middle). However I have seen SAR-21 and TAR-21 trigger jobs on youtube and they both have that pull-type spring on the right side. Frankly I can't see a difference even though people are saying the SAR-21 trigger pack is different than the TAR-21.

Now I am bringing this up because there's no talk in the FAQ. Incidentally I've changed that centre spring to a light one; previously there was a little bit of grittiness, but now there is NO grittiness and there is a clean break. I would judge the trigger pull at about 6lbs. The lighter spring would not have done much to the trigger pull - it would have reduced it about 1-2lbs at most. So it looks like stock Tavor triggers are now 7-8lbs.

When was your Tavor manufacturer? I just received mine, made Dec 22,2013

Looks like the new Trigger.

Jan 2013. I'm also getting 1" groups at 50 yards with American eagle. For reference I shoot about 1/2" 50 yard groups with a bolt action.

Wow, 50 yards. You should be a sniper.

That's like measuring fuel consumption by backing out of your driveway.

Don't be a ####. Mikethebike did the same 50 yard comparison with AE. He did 50 yards, and 100 yards, so compare my 50 results with his 50. Everything is relative - even fuel consumption backing out of driveways if anyone bothered to measure that, unlike - you know - 50 yard zeroes which most people do.

I have a feeling with a better trigger I could tighten up my groups a bit to have less variation, but it's not going to make me a 1 moa shooter with my tavor on good ammo. I think maybe I'll be able to shave off .3 moa at best, probably bring my 100 yard groups from 1.5 inches to 1.3 inches. I still think it's worth the price for me. Others maybe won't think so. But considering I'm shooting my tavor 75% of the time I shoot rifles now, I'd like my hebrew hammer to have a lighter trigger for my little sensitive office worker trigger finger.

It's up on the Tavor FAQ page! I think it's on page 67 or so...

If you want in you better hop to it, Boss Hogg at Accurate Action is only taking pre-orders up until Sunday or so if I recall correctly...

I want a heavy barrel option for the Tavor now!!!!

Yah sent him my money, thank god I caught this right on time!

Just received my new Tavor this afternoon.
Born Dec 2013.
I haven't fired yet, just checking action/operation, trigger pull, etc.
Trigger pull is smooth and not too heavy, breaks clean, reset seems fine. Very happy.
Hope to get out this weekend and burn off a few rounds and report back a bit more detailed.
First time I have handled one and considering all the posts out there on the triggers it is much better than I expected.
