Hi All,

I was excited to pick up a T1x on Thursday ahead of the long weekend but 10min out of the box and the bolt release button falls out onto the floor. Inside the rifle are the release spring and pin.

The thing is the LGS is closed until Tuesday and I don't know if I should try and fix it myself or return the T1x to the store.

Has this happened to anyone else and is it an easy fix? I don't want to disassemble the rifle and mark up the action screws if I'm going to return it. Honestly, I'm wondering if the CZ would have been a better choice and I have exactly one chance to exchange it before firing it.

Thx in advance

Take it back.

I had a T1X and wasn't impressed, finish on the barrel was not great, also the bolt was very rough, had to sand down the stamping on it.

I tried them both and am very impressed with the CZ 457 Varmint which has a smoother better finished action/bolt, better trigger, is more accurate, feels like a gun should and was $150 less. Take it back and get a CZ.

I have a T1x and it's been great, and quite accurate. Having said that, the CZ's are still nicer (metal finish and nice wood) and just as accurate.

Welcome to covid manufacturer times. Lots of poor quality control from multiple companies.

Mines been good, on par accuracy with my 452.
