That's a beaut! Has it been converted to 12.5? Guess it doesn't matter whether it's 12.3 or 12.5 you can't shoot it! Just bought a Yugo lafette complete with optics in mint condition for $750 at our monthly gun show last week.

does it look just like mine above??? seems very cheap.... the post war HKs sell in that range with optics ...if its like mine you did great ...the HK is very nice too but the yugo is really just like and usually is a ww2 german unit just refurbed by the yugos post war...yep its semi auto 12.3 and yep the a$$holes wont let us shoot them anymore

yeah....but you still don't have a 12.6 Mark:)

bugger....i love this gun

Seems the TSE can't tell the very obvious difference between a MG34 and MG42.
Also the difference between a 540/550/Swiss Arms or Converted Auto......

I wonder how many times a day JR searches the forum to see the trash that's said about TSE so he can flag it and whine to Admin.

Last time I looked TNW has dropped the statement Canadian Approved from its website regarding the MG42

Most likely because TNW would have to make ALL new receiver parts. The RCMPolitburo lab has decreed that to qualify as a new firearm rather than a converted auto 100% of the receiver must be newly manufactured.
We received this determination on our 1919 and M2s after we swapped out the side plates of a couple of new condition guns with new TNW side plates and trigger assemblies and altered the bolts exactly to TNWs spec. Waited 2 plus years for the letter stating our guns were classed prohib as they we converted auto which is now the case for any new imports of this types of guns from TNW.
I got "no comment" when asked how that would effect the TNW guns currently in country as non restricted. Apparently the feds only want to screw us in small batches rather than angering a large number with re-classification.
