gday guys a while back I was asking about the Voeres an how I acquired a 2nd hand one...
I finally got it home an checked it out, its a little rough but not bad at all.. it sports a ####ty GAMO 3-9x40 scope in some sort of scope mounts...

I went over the gun after shooting it a few times, found that the Action was loose when the Trigger was pulled back, the rear of the action would move a little, seating deeper- so I unscrewed it all an nipped everything back up, 2 trigger guard screws which only hold the trigger guard and one forward screw which holds the action to the wood...... only one just near the magazine port- toward the centre of the rifle....... this seems a bit weird to only have one action screw?

So I nipped that up tight as too an it minimized the movement when under force with the trigger back...

Then I set about sighting in an shooting a group-

I'm using the 525pc Remington "Gold" bulk Ammo , cos for $60 it will save my Bank when My Son is shooting Cans/Plinking with it.......

however, I couldn't really get it to Group too well, but then at times I sat 3 touching beside each other, ive adjusted the scope to have it hitting where I want roughly, then I would go inside an prep some 9.3 Brass before coming out an placing a handful more shots on target- at Times this POI would shift, other times it woul throw a few together and a few away together...

perhaps this is All my shooting with the inconsistancys but I would of thought I could produce a little better.

So my question is, Whats some things I can do or Rule out wit hthe 22lr, perhaps it doesn't like this particular Ammo? is that highly likely?
do I want to clean the bore or leave it foul up?
is the Gamo proberly shot? has some marks from them adjusting in past, cranked it at some stage, edges are rounded from force--- don't think its tracking very well..............?? (will rip off at some stage an try another) sounds likely doesn't it?

as You know the triggers don't snap easily or cleanly IMO on the rimfire, a bit of movement and a lot of room for a "pull" to one side on release... yeh/Standard!?

for the most parts what its doing is fine, cheap shooting, my son is due in 2 weeks , for 2 weeks and after that I will be able to Tinker some more...

if the scope change doesn't help in short term, we will use these bullets an buy single packs to find one that works well I suppose?

an maybe use the 22lr for plinking an the 22MAG for rabbiting an foxes...... $$

but for now... whattyas rekon??

Sounds like you may have a Model 2107, assuming you're talking about a bolt action. The rifle is accurate for a lightweight sporter. The trigger is not great but there is no problem with it having one action screw. If you are looking for more accuracy there's no way to get around using better ammo. Try CCI Standard Velocity. For simple plinking use bulk ammo but don't expect MOA accuracy.

If you have a semi, see https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/1687268-Any-old-Voere-22-info-out-there

Here's a Model 2107

mate that's exactly like I have!!!

yeah thanks! perhaps it is just the ammo aswell!
is your action rock solid tight in the rear section above trigger?

When I took mine apart, there was a big screw like thing that attached the barrel to the trigger group. It was loose as hell, and even the magazine didn't fit well, or feed correctly. I tightened it up and everything was rock solid again, the mag is a great fit, and it feeds beautifully. I've been carrying it a lot in the bush on a sling, and I think it is losing up again a bit. Mine looks to be quite a bit older than yours, but it shoots like a lazer beam with open sites. Maybe take the scope off and see what it does.

Remington and Winchester are not making very good ammo anymore.
I would clean the barrel and try a couple boxes of of everything you can afford. 22's will usually like one over the others.
Having said that Federal & CCI have some decent offerings that are well worth trying.
cci blazer
cci mini mag
cci standard velocity
american eagle
federal champion
federal gameshock

My faves out of all these are cci standard velocity, & cci mini mags. Approximately $11 - $12 dollars per 100 box at canadian tire.
