New to AR platform, wondering if Stag 10...

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm now looking to get into the nice new flavor of the year, the Stag 10. I believe this could be a fun and new learning experience. I personally have never been much of a fan of DI guns,yes I know they are very reliable these days. But I am very much a piston operation fan .But I was curious has anyone tried to use the Adam's Arms . 308 piston conversion kit? My knowledge on AR platforms is slim to none. So please forgive my arrogance if this question is stupid.
 
The Adams Arms kit is for DPMS Gen II, which is not the same as the Stag 10 platform. The DPMS Gen II is a smaller frame, more AR-15 like design, not the large frame form factor of the Stag 10.
 
The conversion kits are not worth the hassle, as most people have found out. 10 years ago there were probably a dozen companies offering piston conversion kits for AR rifles at shot show. Now there are nearly none. If you want a piston .308 look at other platforms.
