New to AR's considering MP 15 Sport 2, is it any good???

Hi Guys,

Im considering purchasing an MP 15 sport 2, what are your experiences with them? Lately, I have heard mixed reviews should I get one? If not what are my other choices for 700-1000$.

Bad review(s)? Was it 'bad' because it was an MP15, or was it 'bad' because it's a 600-700$ AR?

Like others will say, start with a 600-700$ AR, then get used to it, THEN upgrade it as you know more about yourself, the rifle, and how the combo-of-you-and-it works out

Got one of these and a 55" TV over a Daniel Defense. Don't regret it. Pew Pews the same as the DD at the range. Enjoy.

M&P15 is the cheapest on the canadian market. Better quality than Norinco CQ-A.

I also own two of the Sport 2's. Those two rifles have fed my reloads from day 1 without any issues. They are usually my go to guns when I head to the range. For the price ,you probably can't beat them.

Happy with mine. Replaced the stock, pistol grip and forend and it was still cheaper than most other ARs.

Excellent value. Great AR. Decent results. I have a Nikon M223 mounted on mine. My son put 10 rounds into 2" circle at 100yds (55gr reloads), 10 rounds into a 4" circle at 200yds, and 10 rounds into a 6" circle at 300yds. Considering it was a breezy day they were respectable results, plus it was only the third time he shot the S&W.
