New to BP. Looking for some advice/knowledge

I recently purchased an uberti 36 cal "navy". I've been hung up on the idea of having an old school cowboy cap and ball for a long time now.

My biggest question is making round balls for it. Will WW lead be too hard for the pistol? I know that the "stick on" weights tend to be a softer lead and will probably work and the clip on type are harder. Just looking for some more experienced input.

See if you can find some lead pipe as used for sewer and roof fittings, these tend to be made of pure or near pure lead. You want a soft ball or it will be difficult to ram it into the chambers.
