New to Canada: 963 MF Precision Tactical Revolver

If I put my deposit down, how long does it take to receive the gun/ pay the balance?

8 weeks on average. 35% deposit required.

Debating to get one right now.

My concerns right now are:
a) Armi Olmi haven't quite made a name for themselves in terms of reputation
b) lack of range reports and reviews (it's new so there won't be any yet)
c) the two button press for the cylinder release (I read their explanation, I don't completely buy the "extra button" safety feature) which may defeat the purpose of 4.2" revolver for IPSC shooting. (but you do get to load 7 so you have that going for you I guess...)
d) the lack of accessories for the first couple of years (I don't think TI or anyone will have holsters and speedloaders readily available just yet)

All in all, other than these things, if I don't get one 4.2" for competition, I'll get the 6" for range day fun. Just need to pull myself out of red first because of an unexpected but delightful expenditure of purchasing a Sharon share. Unless TI's willing to do financing :p

357 mag... 4.2.... Desert tan + Matte black cylinder and trimming + Ebony grips .... Just awsome... JP.

are there photos of the 'gold' finish? I'm curious as to what it looks like outside of their web site.

Here's a picture of it in Gold...

Now shut up, drink the cool-aid and buy FDE like everybody else;)

1800.00 + 5% + shipping and insurance = 1920.00... I was on the verge of buying a TRR8 S&W = 1460.00 all in... For 450.00 more... I think it's worthed but my experience is minimal in handguns but this one like it was said before, it could be the Python of this era.... And 25 ounces 4.2 Desert tan is so coool, the Glock of wheel gun.... JP.

Still prefer the PC 627 V-Comp for $300 less and IMHO it's more than twice the gun.

You could be right but on the other hand, this 963 could be the top shelve wheel gun, not having none in circulation there is no way to know until someone buy one... I have experience with firearms that i bought blind and proved to be stellar, i would bet that this revolver is fantastic... JP.

Since a few days, i got my CC ready to order, just looking for one or two good reviews on this product, maybe you could post some if you have them, would sure help finalize my transaction... JP.

I thought you were the man who would go out and buy all the new toys and then you would be the one to post the good reviews :)
