The word is nothing from the AK will fit the Type 81, except for the magazines. Ak magazines won't use the T81's bolt hold open feature though, apparently. We'll just have to wait and see to be certain.
No AK mags DON'T work with it

They're all 18.7", according to TI, if you want a longer barrel why don't you just wait for the LMG version instead of rebarreling your type 81?

I think I misunderstood ur post, disregard what I said then I was just joking around. Anyways, yeh I decided a little while ago to wait for the LMG variant for the longer sight radius and the nicer furniture (IMO).

By the look of the t 81 mags in the pictures the AK mag will need a date with a dremel/cut off tool on the front of the mag. Possibly the slot for the bolt hold.

I had reliability problems with both the CZ858 and VZ58 that I used to own. My expectations for this are higher. Never had any reliability issue with any Chinese gun.
